I came in for a trim, and that is what I received. The stylist did not take off too much hair which is always a concern!
I did not appreciate feeling like my stylist was a sales representative. The entire cut and style was centered around the products and what I should purchase for my hair. That is something that would influence me not returning - the pressure of purchasing more or having to say no.

The hot wet towel that my stylist put on my head after the conditioner felt wonderful. Stephanie gave me a great cut!
I was looking forward to the massage that the Aveda stylist normally do to your head during your consultation but unfortunately it didn't happen. :(

I am learning so much about my hair! Considering I have lived with it all my life, that is a compliment to Yari. She is so good with my curly hair, the way she cuts it brings my curls to life, in a soft and easy to keep way.
Send a text message reminder about 2 weeks out as well as the ones closer to the appointment. Not complaining at all, but you asked.

I had the best ever hair experience ever with Amber at the Charlottesville Stonefield location. She was so courteous and professional! She is super talented and really listened to what I wanted to do with my color and cut. I'm a client of Amber's for life!
