I have only great things to say about Face Value! Stephanie is my stylist, and she is incredible. The whole staff, though, is friendly, courteous, and helpful. A class act all the way around.

I always look forward to my salon appointments! This is a top-notch salon with an extremely friendly staff. I have always been extremely happy with the results of my visits!

After thinking about it, $20 seems a little high for a 9 year old boy. The stylist did use clippers and scissors. Maybe that's why it was $20 instead of $15. I wish I would have known the rate first. I was kind of in a rush when I left, so thank you for the chance to give some feedback. Also, thanks for getting Angus in today. My daughter has a cut in a couple of weeks and I would like to keep her cut under $20 if possible. Also, I enjoy Chelsea, but it would be better for my budget if I switched to one your apprentices next time. I am glad that you provide this option. Maybe a prepaid family plan would be a good option for me. I try to keep my hair budget to around $450 a year and the kids to around $100 annually. Don't know if this would be a good option to provide clients.

Thanks for your feedback. We try our best to serve all the families around our community with fair pricing. We also must support the education and commitment our stylists put into their work with pricing that reflects their knowledge and years of experience. Stephanie, who did your last child’s cut, is one of our more advanced stylists and her price is $20. But you can’t go wrong with Chelsea and her price is $15 so make sure you schedule your kid’s cuts with her when you can.

Angela did my hair this last time and several times before. She pays attention to details and is informative when asked questions about product descriptions. She is an asset to the salon.
When I first started at the salon I had Brooke do my hair. The price was affordable for my budget. She left so I was switched to someone else and then switched again. My price went up by $10.00 a visit. Well the last two times it has gone up by $20.00. This is not affordable for someone who comes every three weeks. I do not believe it is my fault there is not a beautician at the salon that does not have advanced titles behind what they can do as a beautician. I love your salon and want someone close to my home but a jump in price of $20.00 every 3 weeks is a steep price jump. I paid it this last time because I was told there was no one else to do my hair at a lower price. Shortly I will be out of work and on crutches for 6 weeks. It will be difficult financially being out of work. I love Angela but I need to unfortunately have someone at your business that can do my hair cheaper. I do not believe it is my fault as the customer to pay such an increase in price when the service I was getting seems to be unavailable . No one offered me a mew stylist for my next appointment. They told me one should be available before I came to my last appointment. Please help me be able to keep coming to the salon I chose to come to when I moved here in May of 2012. Thank you! Kathy, I am sorry you are heading into surgery and sorry for the confusion over Angela’s pricing. Angela is advancing in her knowledge and skills and commitment to her work and clients and has earned a price increase but I can see that this is bad timing for you. I will contact you and see if we might not have another solution for you that will fit better with your new situation.

We who live in Crozet are fortunate to have a great salon like FV! Our whole family gets our hair cut there. We've been going to FV for several years now. Chelsea cuts my boys' hair (ages 4 & 6) and she is wonderful! She even gave each of them their first ever haircuts. My only complaint, and it has nothing to do with Chelsea, is this: when we first started there, the TV in the Barber Shop side (where my boys get their hair cut) used to have children's channels that could be turned on during a child's haircut. This was so helpful for keeping my boys calm and still enough to get a good haircut. However, that TV has been non-functional for quite a while now. I'm not sure why. My youngest is much more fidgety without the TV. As much as we like Chelsea (she is truly GREAT with kids!), if there were a kids-only salon nearby that had TV to keep them calm, I might have given it a try when the TV was no longer an option at FV. Chelsea also cuts my husband's hair and he is very happy with the results. Yary cuts my hair and I think she's wonderful! She's an excellent listener, never pushy, is a very skilled stylist, and is a joy to talk to. Finally, the front desk staff at FV is fantastic! I've gone to other salons before we lived in Crozet and several of them had less-than-friendly front desk people. The front desk staff sets the tone for your entire salon experience and I'm so glad FV has friendly staff with great people skills. I would recommend FV salon to anyone. You will be happy to see on your next visit that the TV is back "ON" in the Barbershop. We were without a signal provider for a period of time but that has been rectified now.

Always a pleasure...wonderful stylists with great attitudes and lots of personality!! Yari is so bubbly and talented !! I don't have ever have to worry that the cut or color is going to be wrong. And Lucinda goes out of her way to make sure the customers and the staff are happy!! Always a pleasure...wonderful stylists with great attitudes and lots of personality!!
