Lucinda and Julia teamed up to help me fix a lackluster color treatment and the result was out of this world! They were so attentive, determined, and skilled in the application that the correction came out just amazing- better than I had initially hoped for with the first appointment. Customer service is impeccable and although I have only been coming to the Stonefield location for one year, there will be many more ahead. Thanks again ladies! --Allison

Just moved to Charlottesville and was in desperate need of some hair TLC. Got a recommendation from a friend to try Face Value. The first time I went in, the hair color I got was not what I wanted. I called the salon back the same day and told them I wasn't happy with my color and they immediately booked me a new appointment the very next day. When I went in the next day, the manager approached me and was so sweet and determined to get my hair exactly the way I wanted it. Will is a hair genius and I left with the PERFECT balyage and didn't have to pay a cent more for the second treatment, now that's great customer service! Love my hair, love this salon and will definitely be a loyal customer from here on out!

As a first time client in this salon I was looking for a clean and welcoming atmosphere. My plan was to get a pretty drastic hair cut. I booked my appointment with Julia. I met Julia through a mutual friend and while discussing my ideas about a haircut that I was interested in, her enthusiasm and excitement drew me into making an appointment with her! As I walked in for my appointment I was happily greeted by the hostess and she offered a beverage of my choice which was more than I expected right off the bat. The salon was clean as a whistle and all of the staff were welcoming! I was extremely happy with all aspects of my visit and have already booked another appointment for color with Julia!

I recently received one of the worst haircuts of my life at Bristles. The original salon did attempt to fix the cut once at no additional charge but only made it significantly worse. As a licensed cosmetologist myself, you can imagine the horror of receiving a bad haircut. I wanted to cry. I gave the stylist a picture of what I was going for but the result didn't contain any similarities to my pictures or our discussion. I have been to FV in Crozet some years ago and remembered the positive experiences I had, so I thought I would pop in and see if by chance there was any availability with a stylist willing to attempt any amount of correcting my bad cut. Allison had a short amount of time left between when I arrived and her next scheduled appointment, but she agreed to help me out (thankfully!). Obviously in such little time, I didn't have the chance to experience any of your amenities and added services, but I was certainly fine with that! There is always next time... Allison's kindness will certainly stay with me. She did an absolutely fantastic job correcting what the other salon did and preserving my length so that it can continue to grow! Though only time will allow my length to grow out and resemble the original picture I was going for, I am actually able to style my hair now and I feel much better about it. Many thanks to Allison, she's the best!

Very pleasant and efficient experience overall. I like the ease of booking online, and getting the text reminder. Lauren Sprouse is the only one I will go to for a haircut (for years now). She never disappoints.
